After growing up and going to school in my hometown of Clear Lake, Iowa, I moved to the metro area in 1999, it was quite a lifestyle change from a small, intimate town to the big city of Cedar Rapids. I was lucky enough to meet the love of my life in 2002, a local girl from the big city that had a son, as do I, and who appreciated my simple, small town morals. We married and combined our families in 2006 and haven't looked back since....and then the flood of 2008 came.

After losing our first home and personally going through the effects of the flood, we relocated in Marion and dealt with the city of Cedar Rapids during the buyout and recovery process. It was then that I decided to learn the ropes, get my license and apply my unique background and experiences to help others through the sometimes difficult world of buying and selling a home.

They say that you can take the man out of the town that raised him, but you can't take the town out of the man. I believe in the small town ideals of taking care of your neighbors and that no good deed goes unnoticed, the small town mentality truly encompasses the philosophy that I utilize in my business every day.
